Helmet fits comfortably as is, and as adjustments are made it becomes even more fantastic.Also tried the fox dropframe pro, it was too much, Too tight and sunglasses were an issue getting comfortable. Plus dropframe has a fixed visor, Giro’s is adjustable ??The Giro is easy to also fit glasses,Sunglasses, a baseball cap, etc.Update: This helmet is surprisingly cold in sub 50 degree weather. Something about the shape seems to funnel the wind into your ears and eyes. There is no way to add a face shield . There is also no spot to attach a goggle strap. A balaclava does help a bit. This is still a great helmet, but the lack of a face shield is something to consider if you ride in a colder climate.I recently purchased an ebike for a 24+ mile a day commute. I felt that my Giro Fixture helmet would not protect my head at faster speeds ( see the difference between the Tyrant (Left) and Fixture (Right). Cue the new helmet search. I tried the Bell Super Air MIPS and felt it was to bulky and heavy. My other consideration was the Fox Dropframe mountain bike helmet. The key things that kept me from purchasing the Fox Helmet were lack of adjustability and MIPS technology. I also could not find it in the color/size I wanted. I have a head circumference of 53cm and ordered the small Tyrant helmet. Upon trying the helmet on, it feel a little tight and heavy at first. Do not let this deter you from the purchase, the clicker on the back is adjustable and pads conformed to my head shape quickly. When standing still while wearing the helmet it does seem HOT. However, once you are moving on a bike, the vents do their job and keep the head very cool. I rode 12 miles in 95 degree heat today with zero discomfort. The most important thing is that this helmet feels SAFE. It hugs the head in the all the right places, without becoming uncomfortable. I honestly think this helmet is the best protection you can find without wearing a full face/motorcycle style.Exactly what I was looking for with riding my ebike. I feel better protected and this helmet fits like a glove. Not too heavy at all. Was considering a full on motorcycle helmet as most bike helmets are not very good. But this one is perfect. Yippee! So good I bought an second one for my spouse.The sizing is accurate, safe coverage, comfortable design and the vents work well when moving but not during a slow climb.Well I've been wearing it close to 2 months now & I haven't fell down or crashed with them on as of yet but I must say am not disappointed at all of the comfort & the structure & design of this helmet to the point I actually do feel safe which is my head area is of concern with this helmet..My head has hit hard dirt and solid ice while wearing this helmet without becoming dazed.Fits great. I personally love the style of this full cut helmet. Not the lightest helmet out there but the Tyrant sports legit outer shell. I am not sure what Gyro says but I feel like this helmet will take repeated hits. Strap this helmet on and you'll feel like Jay Miron hucking double backflips on TV in 1997. Savage AF.Used it in the trails today. Thinner than I expected. I thought this was made in the U.S. I will update my review.
