These shoes met my expectations of being good for riding on flat pedals. Unfortunately will be returning them as after riding for around an hour, noticed a very painful cramping in my foot. Try them out and see if they work for you. These keep my feet on the pedals on those bumpy, rocky uphill and downhill trails. After a few rides seem to be holding up just as well as my previous five ten shoes. The comfort of these shoes is amazing. They are very durable where the pedals don't destroy the bottom of the shoe. I would have given it 5 stars, but the picture seemed more black than what came. What came in was more gray than what appeared.I have to admit, I was skeptical because of the price point and the fact that they have the adidas logo…my previous 510 shoes did not. After three solid days of riding Angel Fire I’m impressed. Super grippy. Comfortable. Fit good. I can’t really speak to the durability part yet (my old 510’s lasted nearly 4 years), but so far so good. ????Others questioned the sizing but they seem to fit the same as any other adidas. These are not my first mtb shoe but my first for flats. After a couple rides in very hot and dry conditions these have been great. Very comfortable right out of the box. Stick to the pedals so good you gotta lift your foot a little if you need to reposition. Great bang for the buck, good quality shoe. Glad I decided to give 510’s and flats a try. Albeit I’ll need to clean up my technique on the climbs with flats ;)Very impressed with how well these shoes have worn over the past 1,827 abusive miles. Over the past year and a half I have transitioned to barefoot shoes in my day to day and the toe box on these are a little narrow for my liking so for that reason only I am retiring these and sizing up one size with some five ten freerider pros. I may end up breaking these out when conditions are extremely cold if the new shoes aren’t as warm.I have never cleaned these with anything other than a wet rag and they still look almost brand new. I have worn them in dusty conditions, wet/muddy conditions and in the extreme cold and have been 100% satisfied with them. I even stepped in a puddle half way up the laces for a split second and my foot stayed 100% dry so they are pretty water resistant. This shoe is intended for more street than trail but all of my writing has been fairly technical trail riding.Stylish and comfortable. These fit great and work well with my pedals. Nothing bad to say about them!I bought these shoes for an extended trip and they were a great buy! I have click-in shoes for my road bike, but wanted a pair that would work on platform pedals for an e-bike and these do the job. The soles have a soft rubber with an aggressive grip that stay on the pedals without slipping. The fit is good and the suede leather should last. A very comfortable shoe for me. The price on Amazon was much better than an outdoor store where I usually shop. This shoes has a hard and inflexible soles which aid in power transmission. Bottom of the soles was “sticky” to the pedal for the first usage but that sensation, sadly, went away after a few usage. The dole-shape design on the bottom of the soles attempts to prevent laterally slippage (of shoes on pedal), but the foot may still slip if not careful
