I purchased a new gravel / adventure / light touring bike this fall, and decided to go with Shimano dual sided pedals (SPD clipless on one side, platform on the other). Anyhow, my Raleigh Willard 2 spends as much time off road as it does on, so I needed a shoe that is comfortable, has lugged soles for walking, and has recessed SPD mounts so I can walk without tearing up the cleats.The Rumble VR excels in all of those areas--it is very comfortable, the Vibram slightly lugged soles are grippy on platforms and great for walking, and the SPD pedal setup works flawlessly. The fit is sort of snug with thick socks, but they are a great value overall!
